The Hamura Zoo

It finally wasn't raining so we were able to go out and do a little. Today we went to the Hamura Zoo and to the cool park (don't know the name of the park). The zoo was small but it was good to get out of the house.  The zoo here pretty much had the same animals as the states. They had zebras, giraffes, monkey, bird, wolves etc. They also had a sheep and a goat which I don't remember in the US, (but then again I suck at remembering things).

After that we went to the "chicken shack" to eat. I don't know the real name but that is what the Americans call it, I think. It is really a shack though but those are usually the best places to eat.

We then went to the park, again, but this time Cory went with us. He was surprised that it was so big.  There was actually people there today as opposed to the last time that we went. Poor Morgan, he was trying to talk to the little Japanese boys. He will hopefully learn Japanese soon and fast. (He will be going to a school of base where the only speak Japanese).

The Park

Yesterday the kids and I went to the park. It was really neat. This park was of course not like a park that I have ever been to. The park was tuck a way in the mountains (two actually). It was a good work out for all of us. Morgan said that his favorite thing at the park was the big slide. And I know that the big slide was Maisy's favorite part because she cried the whole time when we left.

WE ARE HERE!!! We got in yesterday. The flight was 10 hours long and the KIDS were amazing. Maisy cried twice but that was just because she got hurt. Thank goodness. The trip was great everything went smoothly and it gave us time to actually thing. The past week has been crazy. Monday Morgan had to go to hospital to get stitches he got three. He was playing on an electrical box and took and little off. We had our house inspection on Tuesday and we passed of course. That same day I was suppose to drive to Dallas to drop off the car but right before I was about to leave Cory called and said that we aren't allowed to take it. The car is suppose to be 1976 and older. So we sign power of attorney over to a friend. And they are going to put it on the lemon lot (resale lot). We paid for 3 months of it. If it doesn't sale then Tom will get the car and figure it out from there. He will either drive half way to met Sela in Albuquerque or flight to Altus and get it or drive a trailer with him. But we will see then. And the next day we woke up at 5 in the morning and drove to OKC and got on the plane. Man did we have alot of bags. We were worrying till we saw this one girl that had 11 we only had 7. That is going to last us till we get our short shipment which will hopefully be no later then the 15th of March.

Cory's sponsor met us at the terminal. (A sponsor is someone that you work with and they help you get all your paperwork ready prior to leaving and they help you out when you get here). Well, he is REALLY nice kind of a dork he is a sci fi fan and his wife collects peez dispensers, my kind of people I suppose. But Ryan (our sponsor) got us checked in to the hotel and then stole Cory from me to do some running around. But we got a house!!!! We weren't suppose to get one this early but they happened to have one available so we took it. We will be able to move in around Wednesday. They will give us loaner furniture until we get our things (like 3 months later). So today we just did some walking on base and off. The BX/Commisary that we went to was 2 stories high but apparently there is a 4 story somewhere else. But we got to lazy to walk that far. Off base was okay haha. Hum couldn't understand any of the signs. They drive very fast here and of course on the other side of the road. I can't wait until i get to drive though!!!! And well that is it so far. I will put pictures up when we get our computer and we haven't figured out a phone situation yet. Ryan has a good like bundle package and his number is a US number.
